=> Piano Duo Program at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris - Alfred Cortot

The piano duo is a fascinating world and a musical discipline in its own right among chamber music ensembles. The repertoire is rich with thousands of original works and transcriptions, for 4 hands and 2 pianos, and to create a common vision, a common breath, a common sonority, a sound balance, an interpretation that transcends individualities, specific work is needed to learn to touch the piano differently, to use the pedal, to listen to the common sound result.

This is the aim of the specialized piano duo program at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris - Alfred Cortot, run by the Berlinskaya Ancelle Duo.

Duos already formed, with shared stage experience and a consistent repertoire, who are looking to perfect their skills, can audition to enter the Master, Artist Diploma or Perfectionnement programs, and hone their artistic and interpretative skills to the highest level as part of the university program.

The Piano Duo course prepares duos for international chamber music competitions and for career and artistic development.
